Welcome to the valley of the Cèze !
Our 2 holiday homes are the ideal base for discovering fun activities, because both holiday homes are located at the crossroads of theArdeche, theCévennes, theProvenceand theValley of the Rhone.
TRIPS
Perfect location for visiting the local wineries, regional markets or beautiful places such as Uzès, Avignon, Nîmes. Both holiday homes lie close to the beautiful waterfalls of Cascades du Sautadet. The sea, the Cévennes and the Ardèche are also within driving distance.
TO WALK
In the immediate vicinity you can find beautiful take walks. A hiking map is available for you in both holiday homes.
SPORTY
Running or a yoga moment, just being busy for yourself in or around the old village.
You can wander for hours through villages, ancient hamlets, forests and vineyards.
- Jeu-de-boules is a 2-minute walk from Villa Lys, on the attractive village square in front of the church.
In the garden of Maison Oliver we have prepared a real jeu-de-boule court in the garden itself.
- Or just play football, badminton, etc, fortunately there is enough space in both gardens for this.
- Swimming and relaxing is possible in the river Ceze. There are countless (private) beaches where you can enjoy that we would like to tell you.
- Canoeing or Paddle is a fun family activity (= also on the river Ceze). This is possible from the tourist town of Goudargues.
- Horse riding or pony riding is an absolute must at riding school 'La Ballade du Val de Ceze', located 9 km from both holiday homes.
Here you can make beautiful trips through the vineyards, forests and the river. Yes, even swimming with the horses is possible!
- Cycling and mountain biking is widely practiced here, tip: of course with sufficient gears and condition ;)
TIPS
Further in the immediate vicinity it is also possible to drive a quad, drive a 4x4, paragliding, caving in the Grotte de Salamandre, visit the climbing park.
WINE
Last but not least and found here in abundance are the many wineries. In every village it is possible to taste delicious wines.
We would like to recommend some traditional wine addresses in the immediate vicinity. Or why not taste in the famous wine region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape?
This wine is (worldwide) the best known from the Côte-du-Rhône region.
